Position: Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in an innovative market-leading healthcare business.

Job Description

As a Field BDM your role will include the routine tasks and objectives outlined below; you will be part of the Sales Team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. Your day to day role will include managing a £1m account portfolio, building current relationships and creating new ones, maximising sales on all products and services whilst maintaining profitability. The successful candidate will be highly self motived and hungry to increase business.

Location

Head Office, Aylesbury (Targeted in South East but will be looking after Nationwide Key Accounts)

Duties

  • Managing a £1m Account Profile, maintaining 95% retention rate
  • Job split: 40% Account Management/Growth, 40% New Business, 10% Administrative duties
  • Working towards and exceeding KPIs set by management
  • Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Completing tenders to deliver cost savings and win new business
  • Conduct face to face and telephone account management reviews, target of 30 meetings per month.
  • Complete product and profitability analysis to drive sales whilst maintaining company margins
  • Build knowledge of suppliers and products to best serve customer needs
  • Present business plans, contracts and savings to various levels of management 
  • Delivering ad hoc training sessions when required
  • Driving new business through spec calls, networking events and marketing campaigns

 Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience selling into the care/nursing home and domiciliary care market would be highly advantageous 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as supporting the business where needed  
  • Self-starter with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of CRM systems desirable but not essential 
  • Flexible, personable, and proactive with an eye for detail

Qualifications and Requirements

Degree qualification or equivalent is desirable

Position: Telesales Executive

An exciting opportunity for a Telesales Executive in a young innovative market-leading healthcare business.

Job Description

As a telesales executive your day to day role is to work on marketing campaigns and persuade customers to buy our company's goods and services. To convert the 4,000 Surgeries who have an account but are not buying / buying less than the expected amount. You will be working closely with the Business Development Managers to maximise territory growth. The successful candidate will be highly self motived and hungry to increase business.

Head Office, Aylesbury 

Duties

Your working day is spent on the phone making outgoing calls based on a script. During each phone call, you're likely to:

  • Describe the service offering of medical supermarket
  • Give advice about how the service offering may benefit customers personally  
  • Book meetings for the field team to grow and win business
  • Gather and document information about customers
  • Enter your notes into a CRM system, including dates for follow up calls. 

More about the role...

  • You will make an average of 80 calls per day to new accounts (circa 3 hours call time)
  • Campaigns include:
    • Convince new customers to have a meeting with our field team
    • Convert customers who have received tenders and not placed an order
    • Converting new buying groups and new multi site accounts
    • Calling customers to promote product special offers
  •  Cross selling across multiple product categories and services
  •  Assisting the Customer Loyalty team with inbound enquiries
  • The work is fast paced and intense, and you have only a short amount of time to build rapport with customers and explain the features and benefits of the product

Qualifications and Requirements:

Higher Education is preferable

Salary + Package:

£20k Per Annum + Commission

Working Hours:

Mon-Fri 9:00am – 5:30pm with 1 Hour for Lunch.
