Louise Duffy wins Practice Heroes for January

Louise Duffy, a Nurse Clerk at the University of Warwick Health Centre has won a ‘Practice Hero’ award. The competition was set up by www.medical-supermarket.com to celebrate the unsung heroes of GP Practices across the UK. Louise has worked at the Health Centre for eight years and wins a trophy and lunch for her whole team at the surgery.

Speaking about the award, Linda Mizen, Practice Manager, said: “Louise has a number of key roles that help keep the practice running smoothly. She’s a Nurse Clerk as well as Administrator and Receptionist. Louise is responsible for making sure we have all the essential supplies we need, she does a terrific job.”

We set up the awards to recognise those individuals that that keep the UK’s GP practices running smoothly.
