Kay King, the IT Manager at Rush Hill & Weston Surgeries has won our latest Practice Heroes award.Rush Hill & Weston Surgeries are long-established and serve two large areas of Bath. They provide high quality medical services with emphasis on preventive medicine, but also provide counselling, podiatry, midwifery, psychology, a diet club, drug advisory and physiotherapy.
This means there is a lot of admin for them to keep on top of and Kay King, the IT Manager excels in her organisation and communication, keeping everything in check with a smile on her face.
Practice nurse, Laura Gilmore nominated Kay for the award and helped us organise a celebratory lunch in honour of her hard work. Speaking about the award Laura told us: ‘In short Kay is a legend – she is on call for the surgery 24/7 and is always the first to help in a crisis. She is meticulous in her work and she is a well-regarded colleague and caring friend to so many, and a much loved friend and colleague of all.’
