Want to know more?

This is a portable & compact pocket Ophthalmoscope by Keeler, ideal for Domiciliary, Ward and GP use.

Features:

  • Manufactured in the UK
  • 2.8v Halogen Bulb
  • Powered by AA Batteries (not included)
  • Slimline design fits neatly in your pocket
  • +20 to -20D lens range for clear and effortless examination of all ocular structures
  • Strong metal clip that can be attached to a pocket
  • 3-year warranty
  • Swing over Green, Red Free, Filter
  • Six diagnostic beams for full diagnostic capability:
  1. Wide Angle - Illuminates the largest area of fundus for the best possible general diagnosis through a dilated pupil.
  2. Intermediate - Permits easier access through and undilated pupil and in peripheral examination. Particularly useful in paediatric examination.
  3. Red Free - The red free filter is used to examine blood vessels in fine detail. By filtering out the red light, blood vessels are silhouetted against a dark green background.
  4. Macular - Designed specifically for examination of the macular region of the fundus where a larger beam would create excessive pupillary reaction or patient discomfort.
  5. Slit - Used primarily to determine retinal elevations and depressions but may also be used to assess anterior chamber depth.
  6. Fixation Cross - Projects a graticule onto the retina for assessment of the degree and direction of eccentric fixation.
