Find the right ECG paper for your machine
ECG paper is made to fit one machine family, so the wrong pack simply won’t load or print correctly. Find your machine below and order the matching paper in seconds.
The short answer
- Find the make and model of your ECG machine. It’s usually on a label on the back or underside, or in the user manual.
- Check the format your machine takes: a roll, or a Z-fold (fanfold) pad.
- Match it in the table below and use our order code when you call or email.
- Can’t see your machine? Send us the model, or the code from your old pack, and we’ll find it for you.

Roll vs Z-fold: what’s the difference?
Rolls
A continuous roll that feeds through the printer. Common on compact and older machines.
Z-fold (fanfold)
Paper folded into a stack of pages. Easier to file, and the format most 12-lead machines use.
Size and grid
Paper width, page length and the printed grid differ between machines, so always order by model, not by look.
Keep your paper readable
Store it cool and dark
ECG paper is thermal paper. Heat and direct sunlight can darken it before you use it.
Protect your traces
Keep printed traces away from solvents, alcohol gel and plastic wallets, which can fade the print over time.
Scan for the record
For long-term records, scan the trace into the patient record rather than relying on the paper copy.
Common questions
My machine isn’t listed. Can you still help?
Yes. We can source paper for many more machines than are listed here. Email the make, model and, if you have it, the code from your old pack to help@medical-supermarket.com.
Do you sell compatible ECG paper as well as the original brand?
Yes. Where it’s available, compatible paper can cost less than the original brand. The product page shows which one you’re buying.
Why is my trace printing faintly?
Check you’re using the right paper for the machine and that it’s loaded the right way up, as thermal paper only prints on one side. If it continues, ask your equipment supplier to check the print head.
