The Doherty 3 Section Plinth has been developed specifically for the modern GP surgery, private clinic and hospital environment. An electrically operated variable height mechanism, controlled via a simple handset, is combined with a gas-assisted backrest and foot section, giving clinicians precise control over patient positioning for a broad range of examinations and procedures. A unique self-levelling system levels the plinth automatically as it's lowered, helping to simplify day-to-day operation.

Delivered fully assembled, the plinth is finished with BioCote® antimicrobial powder coating for an added layer of defence against microbial contamination — a genuine benefit in busy, high-turnover treatment rooms. A breathing hole and paper roll holder, chargeable extras on many competing plinths, are fitted as standard. Twin retractable castors make repositioning simple, a levelling mechanism keeps the plinth stable on uneven floors, and dual-sided operation with head-down tilt and feet-up positioning gives your team genuine clinical flexibility. Backed by a 3-year warranty (1 year parts & labour, years 2 and 3 parts only) and a comprehensive range of accessories, it's built to support GP surgeries and private healthcare providers delivering a wide range of clinical procedures.
